I have for many years been a member of the Ryde and Isle of Wight Permanent Benefit Building Society, there is now due to me from them a sum of £686/14/0d. I wish to have this money sent to me here, but as you will see from the enclosed letter they say it is necessary for me to obtain a permit before this can be done. I therefore ask you to be good enough to grant me the necessary permit, or to inform me to whom I should apply for same,
